My Watermark is Redondo Beach on the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles.

Growing up in a country known for its beach culture, I get really excited when it comes to swimming in beaches overseas. While visiting LA on the 1st of September, a friend and I decided to hire a bike to ride along the beach. As we were riding along, we decided to jump in to see if it would remind us of home. Immersing ourselves in the water, I couldn't help but notice all the oil ships in the distance.

This really bothered me because there is a high risk in potential oil spills where friends an families simply come out to create memories and enjoy themselves. I do hope that there is something being done about this, and that pipelines are both continually and regularly being checked and regulated.
