My name is Diane Freeman, I'm a Councillor for the City of Waterloo.

So I’m doing the Great Waterfront Trail Adventure, it’s my second year riding this, because I want the City of Waterloo become more engaged in cycle tourism in Ontario. I want to see what other municipalities are doing along the Trail and what we might be able to do that’s similar, better, the same and that’s why I’m here.

There was all kinds of times along the Great Waterfront Trail where I just, it’s so breath taking, you can almost not breath. I remember riding down the hill into Rough National Park and the vistas looking out over Lake Ontario were just shockingly beautiful.
