My name is Leida Anglar, my Watermark is the Lagoon in Lake Ontario. The reason is I believe in stewardship, I’m an incredibly lucky women. I’m an open water swimmer so I swim in the Lake and in the Lagoon. I started noticing a lot of people using the Lagoon, falling into the Lagoon, and started to wonder, “maybe it’s important that we take more care and get data about it. I contacted Julian and Julian contacted Waterkeeper in Toronto and this is where we are today which is wonderful. If we don't use it we will lose it. It’s a saying that hopefully will mean something. If we do not swim and use and walk and clean this beautiful, beautiful place we will allow it to be destroyed.
