My most memorable experience at this waterbody was after an ice storm myself and my wife wandered into a crystalline landscape. The sun was out and the whole spit was a glittering and tinkling beacon of beauty. We were alone and stood there - the blueness of the lake seeping into the drips of ice... sublime!
