I spent a month every summer on Okanagan Lake. We'd enjoy time with family and friends and it's where I learned how to swim. One year my cousins, my sister and I all swam across the lake. It was such a rewarding experience but then my uncle had to paddle us back because we were too tired. When you spend every summer growing up on a lake you really notice the changes over time and I hope my kids get the opportunity to have some of the same experiences I did.
