A waterbody that means a lot to me is Georgian Bay. I have a cottage on Killarney Bay, it’s about a 10 minute boat ride form the town of Killarney, it actually has Killarney Provincial Park in the back yard. You have to get to it by water and I canoe from the cottage to the town of Killarney, it’s about half an hour canoe ride.

It’s gorgeous water, great fishing, it’s one of the best fishing holes in Killarney, I know people that come from a half hour boat ride from Little Current and few other places to fish off the little fishing hole right off our dock. That’s what comes to mind when I think about water and fresh water and all the things that it means to me and the people around me.
