Aegean Sea, Turkey - Yaren Y

This summer I went wind-surfing just like every other summer. I took my board and went into the Aegean Sea.

I was really far away from the land. The sun was shining brightly. I was feeling the wind on my face. There were boats all around me. I heard music coming from those boats and singing along with them right in the middle of the sea, I surfed and surfed and surfed… Until I started to burn from the hot summer sun. I thought: Why don’t I jump in the water and swim a bit, so I jumped into the water and as soon as I was in the water I felt amazing. I saw this huge fish and seaweed in the bottom of the sea. I tried to touch the fish but it swam away.

I got out of the water and sat on my board, my legs were still in the water. I sat there for a bit. I was looking around and I saw the owner of the surfing place waving at me. I waved back to him and he yelled, “2 hours is up, come back.” I yelled back, “Okay! I’ll be there in a minute.” I didn’t even understand how it went by so fast but I had to go back so I did. Even though it felt short, it was amazing.
