Lake Cecebe, ON - Dylan S.

In the summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to stay at a cottage in Magnetawan of The Parry Sound District of Ontario. There are many cottages built in that area but this place made me feel very warm. When we first got there I didn't think much about it but after kayaking in the river and doing other things with my family the place started to feel like home. On the one day a large family of ducks came floating by and they fell in love with us as soon as we fed them. We also fell in love with them. For the rest of the week we fed the ducks a lot, they enjoyed the bread very much.

The inside of the cottage was very pretty and comfy and we loved chilling inside just as much as playing and chilling outside. Almost every morning when we woke up we were expecting a beautiful sunny day, and that's exactly what it was. The water was absolutely phenomenal and very smooth to kayak on. There was also a paddle boat which I enjoyed going in with my wonderful sister.

I don't think many people realize how beautiful these places are and how much they mean to us. Without them we would be missing out on a lot and the environment would probably not be the same. I am so glad that we went to that cottage and it really helped me relax. This watermark gave me a sense of what the world is like and how much we need places like this.
