My Watermark is the Ottawa River, Ontario.

Growing up on the Ottawa river is pretty amazing. I have lots of happy memories from sailing, paddling and tubing to swimming, fishing and bird watching. The best memory I have is waking up every summer morning, with fog covering an inch of the ground, hearing Canadian geese chattering, loons calling, watching the eagle fly by for its breakfast, and seeing the blue heron, that's been coming to the Ottawa river for years, perched on top of my neighbour’s boat fishing. The Ottawa river is a beautiful thing and I couldn't imagine my life without the Ottawa river.
