Wasaga Beach, ON -Asher H
When I was young at the beach, I remember swimming through the water like a fish energetic and athletic and fast. Right when I jumped in the water it was so cold it felt like I was almost freezing, but I decided to stay in, and when I got comfortable I started to swim. After I got out of the chilly water I remember running so fast to our room in the hotel because I was freezing.
When I was young at the beach, I would hear the big blue waves crashing onto the dusty, sandy and sometimes dirty beach. I remember smelling food like someone was grilling hot dogs on a barbeque. I would hear music from so many different people. I remember grabbing the sand and letting it fall through my hands. I felt like all my problems had faded away
When I was young at the beach, I felt happy but also nervous because it was the first time my dog went swimming. When he went into the water, my heart raced. I was so scared, but I was happy too. Seeing him in the water made my day, he looked energized, excited and ecstatic. It looked like he could do anything if he put his mind to it. I too was excited to swim not just for the water but also to go swim with my dog. I had so much fun swimming with my dog, because the big blue waves were crashing onto us, making us fall down. I remember how the sun was setting, and we were throwing the ball into the water.
At the beach, I will always remember being there with my family, and I'll miss the laughs we had, because every laugh felt like the best thing ever. And every joke was the funniest thing I have ever heard. Lastly I will miss these laughs, and I will miss being on the beach on a sunny day like that one. I can't wait to go back
