The waterbodies I'd like to talk about are our freshwater, our lakes. White Pine, Buntzen, there are so many that are close to where I live and that's one of the reasons why I love living here in British Columbia. I really want to protect these waterbodies because we want to have fresh, clean water to enjoy for future generations.

Barnet Beach -- my family, for generations has gone there for family reunions, for gatherings and there are so many good memories along that shoreline -- we want to make sure that it is protected for our heritage and our history. Things that have taken place down there and for generations to come. Navigation is our right as Canadians and we need to keep it.
