My earliest memory of swimming… I was 3 or 4. My parents were sitting on the beach of Lake Okanagan in Penticton. I was in the water. I swam toward them and stood up. One of them asked me “ Did you have your hands on the bottom of the lake?” I remember thinking this was an odd questions. I answer “No.” They looked at each other and said: “She’s swimming!!”
