My Watermark is English Bay, BC.

I paddle a Kayak in English Bay on average about 3 times per week. I launch from Granville Island or Jericho Beach as a season's pass holder at Ecomarine Paddlesport Centres. I'm always pulling plastic and garbage out of the ocean whenever I see it and I'm saddened by the quantity that I find. I'm also very concerned about the future impact of increased tanker traffic in English Bay as a result of pipeline expansion. One catastrophic oil tanker spill and English Bay will be devastated for decades.
