Lake St. Clair, ON - Vincent N
When I was young, I swam in the warm, clear, blue water at the lake. I remember running in the water. I felt as slow as a turtle. I remember fishing at my secret spot at the lake and always catching giant, slimy, fat fish with my friends.
When I was young at the lake, I could hear the fish jump in the air. I listened to the frog's croak while they hid in the water. I smelled the warm, quiet breeze of fresh water, marine plants, and fish. The sand felt so soft, and squashy on my feet.
When I was young at the lake, it made me excited because I got to swim in the warm, crystal clear, blue water. I was always curious about what lives in the deep water. Is it just fish or other stuff down there swimming with me?
I remember when I caught the biggest large mouth bass of my life at the lake. I will always remember fishing there with my friends and family. I will never forget the campfires and the smell of smoke clinging to my clothes when I woke up in the morning. I will always look forward to going back.
