Lake Huron, ON - Tristan M.

My family discovered Georgian Bay last year and we’ve been having a great time ever since. The Grotto is located on the Bruce Peninsula about 3.5 hours northwest of Port Hope. The first time we went was our first trip in the new RV.

After being in quarantine for so long, Georgian Bay was my best experience of the summer. There were a variety of trails for different skill levels and the 1 or 2 kilometer trail the grotto was amazing. There were so many people enjoying the trails and water.
The water was like glass and the temperature was perfect.

The second time I went was even better than the first time. Some of the activities included hiking, swimming ,cliff Jumping, RV-ing and many more. My personal favourite was cliff jumping. This was my first time cliff jumping and, to be introduced to something the way I was was a jewel to experience. My brother, my dad and I all went jumping and had a blast going up and crashing down into the water.

Georgian Bay has many different lakes in it including Dorcas Bay, Cyprus Bay and many more. I am looking forward to many more magical experiences at this wonderful spot.
