My Watermark is Lake Vernon near Huntsville, Ontario.

I’ve been fishing on it for about 3 or 4 years, I’ve caught a couple big pike. I love to fish for pike in the springtime because the waters are still kind of icy.

So I would go out with my lures into the shallows, and started jigging for pike. All of a sudden I can see the wake chasing my lure like a shark, and then she hits it.

So she was caught with nowhere to go, and what does she do? Jump 3 feet across the bow of my boat. So I caught her and released her because she was a really beautiful fish.
