This was a favourite spot to walk to with my dad every summer. Sometimes we would fish there or watch other people fish. But one day we were graced by what I think of as a "parade" of orcas, what seemed like dozens that swam past for nearly an hour. My dad and I were both so excited to see them so close in the wild. When I visit now, I always look out to the straight hopefully.
