My Watermark is the Credit River, Ontario.

Since summer of 2005 have helped Trout Unlimited rehabilitate the upper Credit river to bring back the native Brook trout. Have built sediment traps, habitat structures, laid gravel for spawning beds, planted hundreds of riparian shore trees, and did electrofishing surveys.

It's important to improve river environment as this allows brook trout to thrive which are an excellent indicator fish species for the health of the river. Healthy river means better habitat for insects, birds, mammals and plants and fungi. As a fly fisherman, quality of our sport is improved with a pristine river environment.
