I first started racing in Hamilton Harbour in 1976. The water is much cleaner now.

Whenever we finish a bottle of wine, I rinse it out then refill it with a sample of lake water. I put a coin in the bottle, and put the cork back in, then drop it in the water. It's a water sample for someone to find in the future.
