My Watermark is the Gulf of Mexico in Texas, USA.

Over the past few years, we’ve had some great times at St. Joseph Island on the Gulf of Mexico. You can see it from Port Aransas, and it’s just a short boat ride. Many visitors go over to fish off a long rock wall. It is privately owned, and part of the island is fenced off. The island is home to all species of birds including the Whooping Crane. The sad part of the beach is that tons of garbage, including unbelievable amounts of plastic, wash up on the shore. It is certainly an eye opener about how careless some people are.
