Kennebecasis River, NB - Michael Marshall

It was the summer of 1989 and I can remember it like it was yesterday. The "Deep Hole" off of Moss Glen road is the epitome of a swimming hole, located on the Kennebecasis River. My friends and I enjoyed coming to this place because of it's unique and majestic presence. A large waterfall flows into the hole and the water is crystal clear, which is not always easy to find here in New Brunswick, and it is just the right temperature. As it sits right in our figurative backyard, we have always taken advantage of this beautiful natural wonder. God has given us many great things in New Brunswick, and not all beautiful things need to cost money. In fact, I believe many of the world's treasures are free.
