I have spent many years driving north across the eastern edge of Georgian Bay on Lake Huron. I will always remember the crystal clear, cool waters, and the whole body shock I experience every time I jump in at the start of a swimming season. This place has become so significant to me that there is no possible future where I do not spend a good chunk of my time living and thriving among the peatlands, rock barrens, and rocky shallows.
