When I was young at the beach, I remember building sandcastles with the hot, dusty, beige sand. I built these sandcastles with moats around them and I used the water of the lake. They were very beautiful with lots of shells. The shells we used were smooth and pretty and colorful. My brother enjoyed creating them with me.

When I was young at the beach, I ate a picnic lunch of fruits and sandwiches. The lunch was juicy and tasty and saucy. I heard birds tweeting, people speaking, and waves crashing.Through the smell of fruits and sandwiches, I will always remember the aroma of the perfume. It was my nana's perfume, strong,fruity, familiar. The perfume, I remember, was my nana's and it had a
really strong smell.

When I was young at the beach I would play at the park and it made me feel excited. I really
enjoyed the park as it had swings and slides and seesaws. It looked like a dragon park, the
seasaws were in the shape of a dragon, the swings were red like fire, and it was very pretty.
Afterwards, I laid in the cool fresh wet water and it cooled me down. My siblings and I were so
happy for this opportunity to be with our family with water so close to us.

I remember when me and Karmyn were swimming and racing. I will always remember our
competition because it was so exhilarating, exciting and amusing. Not only did I always win it
was an amazing way to connect to the water as I glided through the water as it propelled me
forwards. We had no plans to have a swim race but since we were feeling competitive and we
decided to do it. I will always remember how my mom and nana would say the water might be
cold, but we didn't care we would get out of the car and jump in the water no matter what.
