My name is Amy Gomez and I’m from Mississauga, Ontario. I’m really connected right now to Hanalei Bay in Kauai, Hawaii. I spent a lot of time there over the last year there and it’s set with the napali coast right behind it so I’ve been able to paddle there, swim, watch people jump off the pier so it’s been one of my favorite places over the last year. It’s been a place of peace for me.

Just being able to watch everybody play with all their kids and all the families come. Have all the kids jump off the pier. I got to spend some of my last days there paddling around with some friends. Over the napali coast actually while we were paddling there was the moon and then the sun behind us so it was a great relationship that day in having all of us on the water together – it was beautiful.
