My name is Osamah Ali. I am from Toronto, I have always lived there for most of my life, especially the downtown core.

The biggest waterbody that has influenced me is surprisingly Stong Pond up at York University.

The part that makes that pond so special to me is that as a science major I spent a lot of time in the field so the waterbody we had beside us was Stong Pond so over there I got to do a lot of chemical analysis of the water, barometric sampling and surveys, as well as every practical field experience I ever got, was received literally in that water or two feet beside it. Anything I have for skills in the scientific field I can credit to that pond right there.
