Huron River, USA - Karlin Danielsen
For me the Huron River is my place of restoration. When I need to feel well I go to the river and I walk along the river and by the end of my walk I feel restored. I know that my well-being is tied to the well-being of the river. It is because the river is health and well that I can walk there and in turn feel healthy and well. I’m really interested in thinking of our relationships with our waterways in terms of relationships of reciprocity. What we do in every action we take to support the well being of our waterways then in turn helps their health and helps support our own health and well being.
