I skipped stones across the water. Sitting on a nice big rock, seeing how far they would go. The sun shining in my eyes, couldn’t see farther than the shore.

When I was young at the lake, I rode my bike along the trail, hoping to find a secret path. I passed birds and people and trees, attempting to keep my eyes in the direction I was headed.

When I was young at the lake, I walked towards the waves rolling on to the shore. The water touched my feet, as I caught a nice cool breeze. I felt the sand tickling my toes.

The sun set, as the cool frisky breeze tingled my cheeks. Skipping along the shore. Smelling the nice fresh flowers. Kicking the sand going in between my toes.
