Lake Huron, ON - Harpuneet T

My Watermark is Grand Bend Beach on Lake Huron, Ontario.

When I was young at the beach, I ran across the hot sand and jumped into the water and built sand castles. The sun beamed down on the beach as the waves rolled across the lake. The grass blew because of the wind that also made the warm day feel cooler. I heard laughing and cheering and talking. There were many hills and rocks in the background, that were too steep to climb. Many people were talking, swimming and running.

When I was young at the beach, my friends and family went together to the beach. I swam for hours and hours along with my friends and family. Throwing water and splashing around with my friends. I ran along the hot sand as the sand slid through my toes. Laughing and cheering it felt like the best thing ever.

When I was young at the beach, we played volleyball. My feet were burning but I jumped to hit the ball over the net. Sweat dripped down my face because of the hot sun and I jumped back into the water to cool myself off. I played badminton with one of my friends and my skin burnt as I fell into the hot sand. As I hit the birdie with my racket, I saw many people running around and jumping into the water. It was fun.

It was lots of fun and I would love to go there many more times. This water should be saved. It brought a lot of happiness to me and my family and many other people. It was one of my best experiences in my life and I would be saddened if it was ruined.
