My Watermark is Lac Bataille, Quebec.

Lac Bataille has been my cottage waterfront since I was 3 years old in 1973. I've seen significant change over the years, loss of small waterline minnows and severe decrease in frogs since that time.

Despite our lakes being 'healthy' I remind our local association yearly of the changes and advocate locally for taking good care, restrictions on shoreline modification, and to discourage unhealthy boating.

I miss the little fish and frogs from my youth.
