Lake Huron, ON - Juan V

My Watermark is Grand Bend Beach on Lake Huron, Ontario.

When I was young at the beach, I laid down in the warm sand. Sand ran through my fingers and my toes and my hair. I would stretch and my joints cracked. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the time that I had left in the sun.

When I was young at the beach, I swam in the water for hours and hours. I saw small fish swimming along with me. I would splash water at my brother. We would pass around the football to see who dropped it first.

When I was young at the beach, I played volleyball with my friends and family. My feet were burning from the hot sand. I jumped to make sure the volleyball did not end up on our side. I landed on my knees and they also start burning from the hot sand so I got up very quickly. I high fived my teammates because I saved the volleyball from landing on our side and we were happy.

As the sun started to fall, my family and I got in the car. We found a place that sold ice cream and hot dogs. We got out of the car and ordered. When our food arrived all of us ate. Then we drove straight home after a great day at the beach.
