When I was young at the beach, I remember gazing at the sun as it set, its warm, fiery and radiant colour turning into a vibrant dark blue. I watched when people and their pets ran past me as the sun dilated from the impact. While sitting on the bench, I observed as my sister threw rocks and stones into the water, seeing who could reach the farthest, eventually joining her when I got bored.

When I was young at the beach, I remember hearing the sound of the waves crashing as the wind slowly grew stronger, the smell of food hitting my nose. Running as fast as I could against the wind, I felt the sand's weird texture beneath my feet. It felt somehow satisfying. I thought back to the cinnamon roll I ate earlier that day at the restaurant, its sweet, gooey and creamy taste still lingered in my mouth even after drinking a milkshake!

When I was young at the beach, I remember watching my siblings play in the water, the sound of their laughter reaching my ears. Lying on the sand, I sighed and looked back up at the sky, still mesmerized by its colour. Boredom slowly overcame me and sensing my restlessness, my mom suggested I play with my siblings in the water, its blue, wavy and crystal clear appearance glowing under the sun. I remember how I rejected the offer because I didn't like being wet. I felt relaxed under the sun. And then, everything soon went downhill when my brother threw chilling water on me as a prank. Of course, I got really annoyed by it and chased him around.

At the beach, I will always remember the souvenir I lost on our way back. It was a whale squish mallow, it's super soft, blue and adorable complexion made it a target for cousin's begrudging attention. Until this day, I still remember the sound of the waves, people's laughter and especially the sunset. I remember feeling happy to see my family so cheerful, enjoying their time together. I'll always remember this trip and would love to go back if I had the chance to.
